4 Stars Windsor Bun & Thigh
This workout burns like you’re going to die while you are doing it, but leaves minimal soreness afterward. I noticed significant increases in flexibility, strength, and endurance after 6 weeks using it just once a week. An excellent workout!

Ive been doing winsor pilates on & off for 8years This Dvd is the best-as far as short easy exercises quick results

In a few weeks I saw results!If U are a beginner or not that fond of exercises this dvd might jump start your motivation.If u are a super exercise lover this dvd will be gr8 when combined with one of the other dvds for a variation This is one of my best buys!

4 Stars Great Pilates Video
I gave this a four because although I can feel this when I do the workout, I never ever really see any results from pilates, as far as tone goes. However, I think this video is better than a lot of other pilates videos out there, and I think I’m just used to working my muscles really hard and perhaps that is why this is more of a stretch to my muscles than a workout. Mari is a little annoying and says “buttocks” at least 30 times during the workout. Also everyone in the video has a smile plastered on their faces at all times.

Barely broke a glisten. Not worth the 25 bucks save your money. Too short 20 minute workout not enough to feel the burn.

5 Stars Amazing!
I love this DVD! Of the Winsor Pilates DVD’s I own, this is my favorite because I can see results fast and not feel like I am killing myself doing the exercises. Mari is super encouraging on the DVD and suggests doing the workout 2-3 times a week. I love doing this workout so much and seeing the results that I do it everyday! I can’t wait to work on my bun and thighs! You will get sore after the first few times, but after a while that burn feels great and you know you are really sculpting your body. I highly recommend this video.

5 Stars Great Workout!
I don’t usually work out with weights,but I saw this DVD in SHAPE magazine and decided to give it a try. Usually I just do treadmill or aerobics, but I lost 30 pounds with it, I love Slim and Lean get’s straight to the point. Once you get comfortable with the weights it’s time to increase the weight. Great for you if you do not have a lot of time on your hands, Jari works every area of your body=) Stick with it! You will see results=)

3 Stars Jari is Scary, back to basic exercises
First of all, I want to preface this by saying, I think these are good basic exercises that will get you results. You are doing low weight (well, whatever you choose, really) and high reps. The fact that you are doing so many reps may force you to go lower on the weight. I personally only do 5lbs at this point… that’s because my normal exercise routines usually consist of mainly cardio, so my muscles aren’t so developed.

Now, that being said… the video is straight up boring. I don’t get excited to do this workout at all. I dread it, so I end up only doing it about once a week instead of the reccomended 2-3 times. The set is dark and boring looking. The background exercisers demonstrating advanced and modified poses never talk. Jari has no sense of humor.. not much personality, and frankly her looks are kind of scary. Her face looks as though she has had some plastic surgery. What a great message to send to people trying to get in shape the right way. The few times she does talk it’s pretty cheesy. Personally, her style does not really motivate me, but maybe it works for some people.

The abs section and stretching section are too short. Abs are your body’s powerhouse. They deserve more than 4 minutes of isolation. Stretching after almost an hour of hard work should constitute more than 4 minutes too.

Overall, I think I’m going to stick with it as much as I can because I do believe it’s going to help develop my muscles, but I’m not going to enjoy it as I do my other workouts. Jari makes me even more grateful for instructors like Billy Blanks!

5 Stars Great Deal
A friend suggested this video and it’s a great find. The workout is fantastic. Just like the weight classes at 24 hour fitness. You can do the whole workout or go to the chapters and just do specific ones. I use the chapters to change up the order and keep it fresh. She’s really motivating while your working out. Its great for a home workout because you don’t need a lot of equipment. Just some hand weights and a step. The step you can even trade out for a stair or chair. Good find.

I love this video! Jari Love’s routine is professinal, engaging, scientific, and very challenging. I love it and look forward to it everytime. I feel my body changing and pounds dropping very quickly. After trying a lot of duds, Jari Love is the instructor I’m sticking with. Buy her DVDs, I promise you won’t regret it!

4 Stars Slim and Lean Workout
I bought this because of the other positive reviews I read here. This workout is the most effective I have ever done, and I’ve been working out/playing sports for more than 30 years. The number of reps and the way she arranges them must be the key. I wish I’d had this workout 20 years ago.

The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the production quality. The lighting is bad, the set is kind of silly with the coffee table and throw over the sofa- (what’s a sofa doing there?) The folks Jari has with her look so uncomfortable being filmed. These are secondary to the workout itself, but thought those who are visually oriented like me would want to know. That being said, I am going to try and ignore those things and buy Jari’s other dvds. She’s sweet, has put together an extremely effective workout, and is very encouraging, which I appreciate on the 71st repetition.

5 Stars Great weights. Find them in a store..
I don’t have time for the gym anymore so I bought these for home and they are great quality. Very sturdy and they haven’t come unscrewed during workouts. After reading about shipping issues I just went to Sears and bought them. And I was pleasantly surprised to find they were $80 there.

5 Stars shipping problem
The item is exactly what my husband wanted and he is extremely happy with it. The only problem that occurred was the packing used for shipping. The weights are heavy and contained in a plastic storage container that was not protected in any way and arrived completely shattered. Luckilly, none of the weights or bars were damaged in any way. Although heavy, a little more thought would have prevented this and a note on the package would have alerted the shipping agency as well.

4 Stars satisfactory but not great
These are a Christmas gift so I may have to update this review after the holidays! All in all the set seems pretty nice. Quite disappointed in the handling, though. The outer box was all torn up on one corner and the plastic case that the weights are in is cracked on that corner. The case is also filthy as though it’s been left sitting out in the open in the warehouse. It had clearly been opened, probably returned, as the original shipping label was cut and taped over. I’m going on the assumption that the condition of the case isn’t that important to my husband, so long as the weights, themselves, are of good quality which, to my ignorant eye(!), they seem to be. That’s the reason I’m giving it 4 stars.

This is a great dvd for anyone that is short on time, requires no equipment, and almost anyone can do the exercises. Really great; she’s so sweet too and fun to workout with. Much recommended.

Not as upbeat as her other dvds. But it’s a good addition to my collection.

This video has been a real help to me to get up and do some exercise.

It is not too strenuous but does get my heart beat up.

5 Stars FINALLY a Leslie Production that I Really Love!
I’ve used nearly all of Leslie Sansone’s workout DVDs, and find the bulk of them annoying for various reasons: low-budget music and/or sets, poor cues from Leslie herself, unplanned routines that focus too much on walking in place, and often too many other people on the set.

This DVD, however, is MUCH BETTER as far as I am concerned. I find Leslile to be much more likable when she is alone on the set. Her personality is more natural and her instructions are better. She pays more careful attention to planning the movements and varying them to target specific body parts. This particular set is attractive and uncluttered, and the production is good. The music is nothing special, but at least it isn’t the same stuff she has used in video after video, and it isn’t too loud. Best of all, I feel like I can actually get a good workout if I combine several of the 1-mile segments to create a 3 or 4 mile routine. I especially like the segments that focus on the tummy and the legs.
