5 Stars Awesome
I have seen this film/video once on HBO or SHOWTIME, and it blew my mind. I’m European but I’ve never seen such an awesome party w/ such a great musician as Fatboy Slim.
All I have to say Europe knows how to party, everything was under control, and people were enjoying themselves to its fullest.
I’m def getting this DVD, I’m happy Amazon carries such Dvd’s.
I also think its a great DVD for any Summer parties at your HOuse or, you put it into the Dvd, awesome music is playing, for those that like to sit around and watch, can do that also.
100% Recommend it.
And now my desire is to go to Ibiza, cause that’s how they party in Ibiza.
:-)))
5 Stars Good entertainment.
Although I dont think Fatboy slim is that great of a dj. This is an excellent DVD to throw on for parties.
5 Stars This was a WOW party to say the least. One to go down in history.
Ok I saw this today at my best friends house and it was off the hook! Norman Cook is such a likable guy. He was like a kid in a candy store up their playing for 1000’s dancing and having a great time. The guy that gave the negative review and said people didn’t seem like they were having a good time must was looking at the cup half empty here because this video is like 2 hours of people smiling, yelling, and dancing their butts off, having an awesome time, and what the electronic dance music culture is all about! If you have ever had a “magical” night somewhere dancing to great music then this is one to add to the collection. If you have wondered what a real electronic dance party is all about watch this. Over 250,000 people enjoying themselves to the talented and happy Norman Cook, on a beach, and people on boats dancing too. I wish I was there! When you watch it though, its kind of like you are : )
5 Stars Couldn’t stop dancing…
response to Brian -
Wow, you must be talking about ANOTHER DVD… one that doesn’t rock your f*cking socks off… on your planet, when people are happy, what do THEY do? It can’t be smiling and dancing and waving their arms and jumping up and down like freakin’ pogo sticks, ’cause that wouldn’t make sense at all.
This is one of the best live concerts I’ve seen of any genre of music… every camera shot of the audience contains someone having the time of their lives… even if they don’t fully realize it.
maybe go relax a little and watch again. You never know.
5 Stars The Best DJ movie ever made!
Why is this the best DJ movie ever made? Because, it captures exactly what its like to be a part of the Dance Music scene. No, not everyone will like it. Either you “get” dance music or you don’t. Electronic music is not slow, static or stationary, its created to get people moving, energized… dancing! So, if you plan on sitting on the couch eating twinkies and cereal you may find yourself slightly annoyed. “Why is everyone ejoying themselves and I’m not?”, you may ask. Well, turn the volume up, have a red bull and enjoy the music. Fatboy Slim begs for you to be a part of the party. No other movie in this genre has yet to achieve what Live on Brighton Beach accomplishes.

3 Stars Pilates-like strength, minimal cardio
The best part of this video is Ellen Barret, she’s a motivating instructor, with a calm personality. This is an easy ballet/pilates video with minimal cardio. My heart rate was around 50-60% of maximum - better than walking, but not much. Some of the cardio is kickboxing-inspired. It’s a good beginner workout with easy intervals, basic lunges/biceps strength moves, and a pretty outdoor scene. The girls following Ellen are very robotic, no facial movements at all.
4 Stars This Workout is upbeat
I selected this dvd because I’ve enjoyed the other SELF dvd’s and this one didn’t disappoint. It starts out with a great warm up and dance inspired moves then moves into 2 high engery segments that make you sweat. I would recommend this dvd to everyone because I’ve made it a part of my regular routine.
5 Stars Really good workout!
I really enjoy this workout, and although it never feels too difficult, am very sweaty and “worked-out” feeling by the end! I’m definitely going to look for more of Ellen’s workouts! The moves are by turns graceful and energetic, and the weight section at the end is slower and more focused than in many other workouts, which I really like. I’m using a streaming online version from Netflix, which doesn’t include the bonus workout, so I’m planning to buy my own copy from Amazon.
5 Stars I love this workout DVD
This is one of my favorite workout DVDs. It is challenging for me and there have been times when I had to stop and take a break (other people on here might be in slightly better shape than me though so keep that in mind). But I love how Ellen Barrett is positive and uplifting without being too annoying (Ahem…Denise Austin…).
5 Stars Good main workout, Great bonus workout
This is a good workout with an instructor who looks healthy, not like a stick insect. She cues well and the music is upbeat. It has enough repetition so that it is easy to follow, but not boring.
What is really nice is the bonus workout. It only lasts a little over five minutes, yet still manages to work most of the body with compound moves. Once you get the hang of it, you can go a bit heavier on the weights than what she recommends, and while she’s explaining the moves, you can get in a few extra reps, or do half the number of reps, but in slow motion.

5 Stars Has held up well!
Purchased this over a year ago and it has held up in ocean water, stream water, sand etc.
My only surprise was it was narrower than I expected and I later found out it was because of the size I ordered.
My dog actually wandered down the street and the guy that called me said it was real easy as he could read her name and phone number so easy.
So just for that alone I give 5*!!
2 Stars nylon dog collar
For the size neck it fits, it’s not a very durable collar. It’s half as thick as I would expect.
5 Stars Excellent Service, Excellent Product
Lucky Pet is a fantastic company to work with. The collars are strong and durable and the embroidery looks great. Delivery time was very fast, as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better product or service. Thanks, Lucky Pet!
5 Stars Well-made and great service
These folks were incredibly easy to work with and the product shipped fast even with personalizing. Great transaction and the collar has held up well.

5 Stars secret video
besides the extras on this dvd, there is also a ’secret video’ under ‘Sexy and 17′
you have to click on the Song List, scroll down until you get to Sexy and 17, and then left click on your remote until the brick turns blue and it should be there!
It’s a extra perforomance of Brian in it with just him and his guitar, wow so cool
the whole dvd is so great, thank you Cats!
5 Stars These Cats are Better Than Ever!
Great songs, strong musicianship, high energy, enthusiastic crowd, impressive venue all make this a thoroughly enjoyable show!! This is the Stray Cats’ tiumphal return to where they truly got their start in 1980: London. Since then they’ve parted ways, reunited, done solo projects and simply put, gotten even better with age and experience. These guys are true pros and absolutely love what they do and it’s obvious they are having the time of their lives. You will too, watching this DVD. Highly recommend!
5 Stars If you like the Stray Cats
For all that like the Stray Cats this is a “MUST HAVE.” Quite a show they put on in this concert. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched and listened to it.
Have 6.1 surround system in entertainment room and a 5.1 system in our patio room, and the sound is tremendous on both systems.
Amazon,as usual, was a “breeze” with this order. Shipped right away and arrived earlier than I expected. I’ve been shopping Amazon for years, and have had only 1 minor problem, which the solved to my satisfaction, in very short order.
5 Stars Those Cool Cats still rock the house!!
I got my DVD on New Year’s Day and have watched it 7 times already in just the first 4 days. Man, this is a wonderful concert and a real treat for any age. I have shown this to my parents (age- mid 60’s) and my nephews (ages 10 and 13) and they all love it as much as I do.
Rumble in Brixton is set in a small to medium sized venue with a sold out audience of about four to five thousand very enthusiastic fans. Hearing the crowd and watching them groove to each slap of the bass really made me feel like I was there. Brian Setzer is a guitar player like no other, truly amazing. The way Lee Rocker man-handles that doghouse bass all over the stage you’d think it only weighs 5 lbs. And Slim Jim Phanthom’s excitment and enthusiasuim at the drums is infectious.
I’m 36 and remember when the Cats came out but like most others at the time I didn’t relate to their sound. I mean I loved their hits (Stray Cat Strut, (She’s) Sexy and 17, and Rock This Town) but knew very little of the main body of their work, or of the Rockibilly genre. But now, after watching this concert, I can’t get enough. I’m kicking myself for missing out on 25 years of this!!
In short, If you like concerts on DVD, buy it you’ll love it.
5 Stars Vintage Rock and Roll
This is an absolute killer display of grass-roots rock and roll. The cats are better than ever. By the time you make it through the concert you will be spent. This is pure energy all the way through. This may be the best display of all to showcase Mr. Setzer’s unmatched guitar virtuosity. Brian can play any style you want and play it better than anyone else. Lee rocker and Slim Jim are very entertaining. This is all about the music, and you can tell they love to play it. I can’t really describe how good this is. If you like rockabilly, blues, boogie woogie or just plain old rock and roll you will not be dissapointed. If you want to watch a master guitarist at his best, get this dvd.

4 Stars Pretty good product.
It came with all the tools needed to put it together, and it works well. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because even with the resistance knob turned all the way, there is no real resistance.
5 Stars Excellent item
Better and more convinent than a full size bike. I use it under my computer desk - perfect, well made, sturdy.
4 Stars Sunny Mini Cycle #030
I ordered an arm bike to increase my upper body strength. The Sunny Mini Cycle is exactly the tool to do that. For the price I think the product does exactly what it promises.
Old Yeller Vault Disney Collection

Old Yeller Vault Disney Collection

There’s nothing hip about this vintage Disney film that begins and ends with a corny song about the “best doggone dog in the West.” But that’s the beauty of Old Yeller, originally released in 1957. The simple, heart-warming story of a boy who bonds with a feisty stray dog in 1860s Texas is full of 1950s sensibilities: A Donna Reed-style perfect “Momma” (Dorothy McGuire) who knows best, a couple of brothers who quarrel in the best sitcom tradition, and a father (Fess Parker, in a small role) who goes off to provide for his family, leaving his older boy (Tommy Kirk) in charge and his incredibly cute younger one (Kevin Corcoran) to steal as many scenes in the movie as he possibly can. With Old Yeller at his side, Kirk becomes a little man, who in the end must make a decision so heart-breaking that it’s one of filmdom’s most memorable moments. –Valerie J. Nelson

2 Stars old yeller
movie came in on time. however, it did not have a case with it. it was just the tape and that is it.
5 Stars A Classic - Old Yeller
After searching in local big box stores, I was able to locate only the “non-Disney” releases of this classic motion picture. However, Amazon offered both choices and I was able to secure a copy that contains the original graphics and issued from Disney.
2 Stars WASN’T IMPRESSED
This movie hit the theaters on Christmas Day in 1957 starring Dorothy McGuire as Katie Coates, Fess Parker as Jim Coates and Jeff York as Bud Searcy. Based on the novel by Fred Gipson, Old Yeller is set in Texas in 1869. While his father is away on a cattle drive, 15-year-old Travis Coates takes over management of the family farm. Adopting a strictly business policy, Travis is irritated when younger brother, Arliss, adopts a frisky stray dog. Soon Travis is as fond of the dog as everyone else in the family is; moreover, “Old Yeller” is an excellent watchdog. However, while fighting off a mad wolf, Yeller is infected with rabies. Though Yeller seems unaffected at first, he eventually behaves so viciously that the disheartened Travis has no choice but to **** *** ***. A heart-to-heart talk between Travis and his returning father coupled with the adoption of a new pup, paves the way to an emotional but reasonably happy ending. Earning eight million dollars domestically on its first release, Old Yeller convinced Walt Disney to devote more and more time to live-action films and less time to animation, which at the time was a great business move. In 1963, Disney released a lesser sequel to Old Yeller titled Savage Sam. I was wasn’t that crazy about this picture either. To me once the dog got in the fight the movie was over. I give this movie Two-weasel stars because there was not much drama or action in this movie other then the fight with the wolf.
5 Stars You can’t afford to waste the good part frettin’ about the bad. That makes it all bad.
When I watched Old Yeller a few years ago, I had not seen it for many years. I had completely forgotten how powerful it was and was completely blown away by it’s brilliance! One of Disney’s finest! This film has stood the test of time incredibly well and, in fact, is probably only more powerful now than when it was first released. Superbly scripted, sensitively directed, and loaded with power packed performances! Simplistic and sincere, honest and real. Old Yeller plays like a breath of fresh air, making most movies of today look like cinematic smog.
Perfectly cast, with fine, first rate performances. Tommy Kirk gives the standout performance of his career! Completely convincing, he brings an authenticity and genuineness to his character, in this most challenging of roles, as he runs the gamut of human emotions. Dorothy McGuire is perfect as Katie Coates, bringing a gentleness and warmth to the role of the mother. Not to be over-shadowed though, Kevin Corcoran gives an outstandingly astounding performance, especially for one so young, as the youngest member of the Coates family, Arliss. Jeff York, as always, is a delight, injecting some light-hearted humor into his role. And while Fess Parker may not have a great deal of on screen time, his performance is played with great sincerity, strength, and warmth. Rounding out the cast, with fine performances, are Beverly Washburn and Chuck Conners. Not forgetting scene-stealing Spike the dog, who is totally charming and completely disarming in the title role.
More than just a story about a boy and his dog, this is a story about life and living. About the highs and the lows, of good times and bad, of loving and losing. For me, the most memorable moment of the film is the scene towards the end, between Fess Parker and Tommy Kirk, between father and son. To quote from the film, “Well, now and then, for no good reason a man can figure out, life will just haul off, and knock him flat. Slam him again’ the ground so hard it seems like all his insides is busted. But it’s not all like that. A lot of it’s mighty fine. And you can’t afford to waste the good part frettin’ about the bad. That makes it all bad.” To me, this sums up the heart of the movie, and is one of the most touching and moving moments in motion picture history.
This is certainly one of Disney’s best movies of all time. Endearingly enduring, it remains great wholesome family viewing. A must see for everyone!
PS - This DVD set contains some excellent bonus materials!
5 Stars The Classic Tear-Jerker
Shortly after Jim Coates leaves his wife and two young sons alone on their Texas frontier homestead to go on a cattle drive, the family takes in a large, thieving, stray, yellow dog as pet and protector. The story follows the time of Jim’s absence and Old Yeller’s stay, as the endearing dog takes on the roles of play-pal to little Arliss and chore partner to teenage Travis, and fights off dangerous animals to protect them all, putting himself in great danger. However, with the closeness of animals to the lives of American frontier-folk, diseases like rabies prove to be just as looming a threat, as the Coates family comes to learn in one of the most heart-wrenching endings in both literary and cinematic history.
“Old Yeller” is a masterpiece of filmmaking and definitely among the finest work from the Walt Disney Studios to date. The tale is plain and simple, softer than the famous Fred Gipson book it was based on but extremely loyal at the same time, and easily one of the greatest coming-of-age tales of love and loss ever written or filmed. Painstaking detail was put into recreating life on the Texas frontier in this Disney classic, and though it was released in 1957, claims that the film is loaded with 50’s sensibilities may be a bit unjust. This film is set shortly after the Civil War, not in modern day. Having things like the man being “head of the household” or “breadwinner” aren’t always just 50’s sensibilities. Anyway, if one takes a good look at Disney films of the time, one might be surprised to find that the Disney films often depict more believable families than what you’d see on television sitcoms and other films of the period. “Old Yeller” doesn’t fall short in that area either. There are only seven human members to the cast, and all are outstanding (most Disney regulars) in strong, believable roles. Tommy Kirk (The Shaggy Dog, The Misadventures of Merlin Jones, The Hardy Boys, Swiss Family Robinson) is the human lead as Travis Coates, the young teenager who grows closest to “Old Yeller” and is hurt the most when the dog meets his emotional and legendary end. Kevin “Moochie” Corcoran (The Shaggy Dog, Swiss Family Robinson, Toby Tyler) is little brother Arliss, a feisty little boy who throws rocks and never sits still. Dorothy McGuire (Swiss Family Robinson, Summer Magic) is the ever motherly Katie Coates, and Disney legend Fess Parker (Davy Crockett, The Great Locomotive Chase) rounds out the family as fatherly and loving Jim Coates. The always hilarious Jeff York plays lazy, meal-mooching neighbor Bud Searcy, with Beverly Washburn as his sweet and put-upon daughter with a crush on young Travis. The final human castmember is the well-known Chuck Connors, who plays Old Yeller’s original owner and a kind visitor to the Coates’ farmstead. Throw in Spike the dog as the title character, no less impressive an actor than any of them, and you have one of Hollywood’s greatest casts! Not to mention that this was directed by Robert Stevenson (Mary Poppins, Darby O’Gill and the Little People, The Love Bug), one of Hollywood’s all-time greatest directors! No, there’s really nothing much corny or extremely ‘”50’s” about this movie, if that’s what you’ve been led to believe, aside from the “Old Yeller” theme song, though us Disney fanatics rather like it. It’s wonderfully sung by Jerome Courtland (Disney’s Andy Burnett).
As for the DVD edition, the 2-disc Vault Disney release (now out of print) is a real triumph! Disc One includes two bonuses in addition to the beautiful widescreen presentation of the film: A delightful Pluto Cartoon, “Bone Trouble,” in which Pluto’s attempt to swipe Butch’s bone breakfast leads him to be chased into a hall of mirrors, and an excellent audio commentary (featuring Kevin Corcoran, Fess Parker, dog-trainer Bob Weatherwax, and more than anyone, Tommy Kirk; it seems that Kevin and Parker were recorded separately). In addition, the DVD menus look great. Disc Two’s amazing Vault Disney menu is loaded with goodies. There’s, “Old Yeller: Remembering a Classic,” a lengthy making-of documentary full of tear-jerking interviews with the surviving cast-members along with animal trainer Bob Weatherwax and T. Beck Gipson, the son of writer Fred Gipson. There’s also a nearly 15 minute featurette titled, “Conversations with Tommy Kirk.” This is an enjoyable, in-depth interview with Tommy about how he got into acting as a child, met Walt Disney, and various details about his career at the Disney studios, including an unfortunate misunderstanding with Fred MacMurray. There are a couple of montages too. One is a bit of a commercial really, and doesn’t have much value. It’s called “Dogs!,” and is nothing but a fast-paced montage of Disney dog clips. The other montage is more appreciated. It’s called “Disney Studio Album,” and is a montage of Disney events of 1957. A sort of Disney video yearbook. “Lost Treasures: Ranch of the Golden Oak” is a guided tour of the California property where many films are still filmed, along with reminiscence from Old Yeller’s cast members of course. A Production Archive on Disc Two is loaded with galleries in the categories of “Production Stills,” “Publishing,” “Advertising,” “Screenplay Excerpt,” “Documents,” and “Biographies” (of everyone but Jeff York for some reason). There’s also a slideshow titled “Production Gallery,” though it just features some selections from the Production Stills gallery. The DVD also offers the original theatrical trailer, a 90’s TV commercial for a TV airing, and another tear-jerker labeled, “News Segment: Old Yeller Memorial.” This is a report on an Old Yeller statue dedication in writer Fred Gipson’s hometown and focuses on his son. Laura Bush also gives a speech at this sentimental ceremony. What non-Texan folks might not know is that this isn’t really a news segment, it’s from an excellent Texas television program called “Texas Country Reporter.” It’s a long running show that is not unlike “Made In America” or other such shows on the more educational/informative cable channels like TLC, Travel Channel, or Food Network, just a little more down-homey. Also on Disc Two is a virtual jukebox featuring various audio explorations. There are two interactive Sound Studio experiences, a selection of Radio Spots, a Foley Demonstration, and a vintage “Old Yeller” record album story told by Fess Parker with dialogue from the film. Last, but certainly not least, one of my favorite types of extras to find on a Disney DVD, we get a complete episode of the Disneyland TV series! The episode, hosted by Walt, is “The Best Doggone Dog in the World.” This treat shows us dogs of the world, introduces Dorothy McGuire talking about the film “Old Yeller” and narrating clips, and presents to us a “True-Life Adventure” type story about Arizona sheepdogs at work. A wonderful addition to a wonderful DVD release!
Ya know, I gotta say, as much as I love the Disney Renaissance period of films like “The Little Mermaid,” “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” and so on, whenever I am walking around a Disney theme park and taking in the sights, sounds, and smells, it’s films like this that really come to mind for me. The company still churns out some gems now and then, but Walt’s legacy is the work the studio made under his guidance, and it really is at least as good as anything made after he was gone. Walking down nostalgic Main Street or anywhere else in the Magic Kingdom, I love having films like “The Happiest Millionaire,” Pollyanna,” “Swiss Family Robinson,” and “Old Yeller” to look back on, and it’s a shame that more young people aren’t exposed to such films today. Thank goodness they’re available on DVD for those who care enough to purchase them. Of course, as I mentioned, this Vault Disney 2-disc release is no longer in print and recently has become difficult to find. As with a few other excellent Disney releases, they have been recently rereleased in double feature editions, sometimes still in 2-disc sets, but usually missing some very nice extras. In Old Yeller’s case, the film has been released on another 2-disc set, this time paired with its underrated sequel, “Savage Sam.” While it’s a fine way to acquire “Savage Sam” if you don’t have it yet, I still recommend seeking out the Vault Disney edition if you don’t yet have “Old Yeller.” All the double feature lacks is the audio commentary, but for me that was reason enough to seek out the Vault Disney release. I will probably get the double-feature anyway to acquire “Savage Sam” though.

Walt Disney Legacy Collection True Life Adventures Vol 3

Long before Animal Planet existed, Walt Disney’s True-Life Adventures awakened viewers to the wonders of the natural world. Disney began the series in 1946 with Seal Island, and the six features and seven featurettes won eight Academy Awards.
Listen to our interview with director emeritus Roy E. Disney. |
One winner was Bear Country (1953), which is included in Creatures of the Wild, along with The African Lion (1955), Jungle Cat (1959) and The Olympic Elk (1952). Each film traces the course of one year in the life of its subject. Lionesses hunt to feed their cubs (and their glorious but idle mates) on Serengeti Plains. A pair of jaguars in the Amazon and a mother bear in Yellowstone Park raise their cubs, teaching them to find food and avoid predators. Magnificent bull elk fight for mates in the high meadows of the Olympic Mountains. Except for the narration occasionally seeming a little forced or obvious, these documentaries wear their age lightly. The prints have been lovingly restored: scratches and dirt have been removed; the color looks pristine. Artists and scientists will find useful reference material here, and children will enjoy the pageant of nature. Sadly, many of the ecological communities that seemed as inexhaustible as they were beautiful in the 1950’s have been severely damaged during the intervening decades by human encroachment, poaching, and climate change. The two-disc set is loaded with extras, including two black-and-white Disneyland shows from the 1950’s. (Rated G, suitable for ages 6 and older: some hunting sequences may be too intense for very small children)–Charles Solomon

4 Stars Olympic Elk is a family classic
My father referred to the classic Disney film “Olympic Elk” for several years. When the video finally became available on DVD, I bought a copy for him, and one for myself.
This film follows the life cycle of the elk which reside in Olympic National Park. The animal photography is excellent, especially considering the time it was produced. The remote setting is stunning. I visited the area with my son in 2007. We saw several elk ourselves, while there. Watching this video brings back special memories of that trip.
Don’t miss this classic family film.

Lifetime 1225 Pro Court Height Adjustable Portable Basketball System with 44 Inch Backboard

Lifetime 1225 Pro Court Height Adjustable Portable Basketball System with 44 Inch Backboard

Fun for the entire family, this portable basketball system can go anywhere you want to shoot hoops. This system features a 44-inch backboard, three pieces of 3-inch round black telescoping pole sections, a black classic rim, and a 27 gallon portable base. The backboard is constructed of high-density polyethylene, making it durable and rugged to withstand the elements. The rim features a 5/8-inch solid steel ring and is supported by 1/2-inch braces; the all-weather nylon net is long-lasting. The telescoping pole adjusts the rim height from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments without the use of tools. To stabilize the base, a 27-gallon capacity (about 234 pounds of water or 364 pounds of sand) allow for a stable foundation.
Portable basketball systems depend on a base filled with sand or water for stability. Although it will take up more space than an in-ground system, the portable base rolls on wheels, allowing players to position the basketball system in the desired location (and also allowing storage in a garage). Simply assemble, fill the base, and star shooting some hoops. There is no fussing with concrete.
Amazon.com Basketball System Buying Guide
With the high-quality construction of many portable basketball systems, turning your driveway into a basketball court can be as simple as hooking up your garden hose. But while a portable system may ultimately be your best choice, there are reasons you may want to consider an in-ground or wall-mount system before you decide.
In-Ground Systems
In-ground systems are permanently cemented into the ground–either via a bolt mounting kit or directly into the ground–and are generally more rigid and take up less space than portables. In-ground systems often require that you hire a professional to complete the task, but when the cement dries you’ll have a hoop that can take punishing dunks with ease.
Many in-ground systems are height-adjustable, include removable post features that let you take the system down for off-season storage, and feature heavy-duty break-away rims. You’ll also want to research the adjustable mechanisms on the systems, as there are several types to choose from. Some feature a counter-balance spring that lets you perform easy, one-hand adjustments while others may feature a sturdy, pneumatic system.
Wall-Mount Systems
Wall-mount systems can be mounted to the side of a house, a tall retaining wall, or a garage. Generally sturdier than portables, wall-mounts have the added advantage of optimizing your existing ground space for the court, since you won’t take any space up with the base or pole. Not all systems include the necessary hardware, so make certain you add a mounting kit to your list.
Portable Systems
Portable systems require minimal installation and offer ultimate convenience. These systems generally feature a base that can be filled with sand or water to stabilize them and include wheels for portability. Although they are not as sturdy as in-ground or wall-mounted hoops, portables are simple to set up and can often be folded for convenient storage.
Backboard Considerations
Regardless of which system you choose, you’ll want to brush up on Backboards 101. Most residential systems feature backboards made of acrylic, fiberglass, graphite, or various other composite materials. While clear acrylic gives the professional look and feel of glass, it is not as rigid as fiberglass or graphite. Some systems may offer steel or aluminum backboards, which are virtually vandal resistant, but don’t offer the true rebounding action.
The regulation size of an NBA backboard is 72 inches wide and 42 inches high. Most portable hoops are 42 or 44 inches wide and 36 inches tall. In-ground systems tend to be a bit larger, with 54-inch and 60-inch widths being the most popular. While rectangular shaped backboards provide more bank shot opportunities, they are generally more expensive than the streamlined fan-shaped board.

5 Stars Good unit for the price
I took less than an hour by myself to put this together. I felt the directions were clear. I use it daily and have no issues with it. It was a good price and with free shipping it was wonderful.
5 Stars Very Pleased
My basketball goal arrived quicker than expected. It was easy to assemble and the kids were shooting hoops in no time. I feel like a got a good deal and it’s something the whole family enjoys. I would definately recommend this product. Very pleased with my purchase.
5 Stars Great so far
Putting it together right was a challenge, but is has served us well. It has to be very portable for us, so we use water in the base and put large rocks in an old cooler on top of the base to make it more stable. I was impressed by the fact that the base returned to shape fairly easily after the corner got run over by a car. The plastic was warm from the sun at the time.
5 Stars Wonderful Product
We bought this for my son and his family. The fact it is adjustable makes it possible for our grandchildren to use it as well as our son and daughter-in-law. While there were a few frustrating minutes when it would not go together as it should, they have definitely enjoyed having it as a means to ‘family togetherness!’
3 Stars Frustrating to Assemble, Fun to Play With
A bag of assembly parts was missing and it took three — not the advertised two — adults to put this contraption together. But once it was together, the kids — and adults, too — loved it. They can’t get enough of shooting baskets.

5 Stars Best TV Show Ever!!!
Even after years of this show ending, it still holds up, and this show has Great Writers, Wonderful Seasons of Episodes and it is so much fun to watch it all again with someone who hasn’t seen it yet. Buffy and the gang is great to watch and I love how the story unfolds from one episodes to another, as if we are growing with the characters. As oppose some tv shows to where the story begins and ends in an episode and then it starts over next episodes, it doesn’t evolve like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and that is the big part of the reason it works so great, plus the Writers who has done the wonderful job of dialogues and adventure and humor. Everyone should see this show!
4 Stars Buffy The Beginning
Pleasantly surprised by the first season after seeing the movie I didn’t think the show would be too deep. And if this show was given to anyone other than Joss Whedon I’m sure it would have been a complete train wreck.
Buffy moves to Sunnydale with her mom Joyce after being kicked out of school in Los Angeles. She immediately meets her new watcher, Rupert Giles and Angel, hunky vampire with a soul. With their help she starts battling demons and vamps in Sunnydale. And you thought Suburbia was safe!
The villain of the first season is The Master, one of the oldest living vampires in the world. The stories are well structured with sharp, funny dialogue and each character really stands out on their own. It’s fun to see a female action star especially one that has time to be a cheerleader too. A must see for vamp lovers everywhere.
5 Stars Does Not Seem Right???
Did Amazon make a mistake with the price of 31.00 on this? It is the shortest of all the seasons and the others are going for 19.00.
1 Star horrid
Who wants to watch a show that has been canceled twice? a show that has terrible acting and scripts that are just plain laughable. buffy failed at being anything more than a waste.
1 Star AWFUL AWFUL START
this is the first season that led to its utter demise and cancellation on 2 occasions. the show just wasnt good. the acting was bad and the scripts utter nonsense. and the show even gets worse as time went on. this is one of the worst
