You can’t go wrong with a durable, basic nylon collar; this one has stainless steel buckle and d-ring (for attaching leash).
Measure pet’s neck snugly, then add 2″ - 3″ to determine length.
Small width is 3/8 for collars in 8, 10, and 12 lengths. Medium width is 5/8 for collars in 14, 16, 18, and 20 lengths. Large width is 1 for collars 22 or more in length.

Purchased this over a year ago and it has held up in ocean water, stream water, sand etc.

My only surprise was it was narrower than I expected and I later found out it was because of the size I ordered.

My dog actually wandered down the street and the guy that called me said it was real easy as he could read her name and phone number so easy.

So just for that alone I give 5*!!

For the size neck it fits, it’s not a very durable collar. It’s half as thick as I would expect.
