BOB Revolution 12 Aluminum Wheel Duallie Stroller

BOB Revolution 12 Aluminum Wheel Duallie Stroller

Cities are not stroller friendly, unless you have the 2008 BOB Revolution 12″ AW Duallie. Its swiveling front wheel steers around the urban jungle’s tight corners, through its crowded aisles, and into its cramped elevators with ease. Same features as the Revolution Duallie, but with smaller and more manueverable 12″ aluminum wheels. The smaller 12″ front and back wheels take up less storage space when folded and turn on a dime.

4 Stars Almost Perfect
This stroller is an awesome double - there are only a few things I would change, but they are fixable at home. It is heavy, but you can feel confident to take it off-roading, and keep it a looooong time. There is a cargo add-on that can be used on the single, but it would be nice to add it on to the duallie, if they could make that adjustment. That way, it carries baby and all the stuff for outings. The straps are not removable, and it would be nice if they were so they could be washed (drooling, milk, food, sticky fingers, etc.). The seat also needs a waterproof and machine washable seat cushion for diaper leaks, and food messes. The cargo carrier could be bigger underneath - they should have extended the material to go up the back a bit and act like a catch-all net carrier that is easily folded up. It’s true that the seat doesn’t sit straight enough, but if you buy an eleven dollar deluxe pregnancy pillow wedge and place it behind your baby, he or she can sit up straighter. The joovy caboose all-season seat pad is a good add-on too - a lot cheaper than the one they want you to buy for the Bob Revolution. When you add the car seat adaptor, the child tray comes straight up to my daughter’s forehead, where she can hit her head. She likes to suck on it, but I think I will just remove the tray part until she is taller. Something else neat to add is a pocket organizer from wal-mart that is normally hung over a door - it can be simply cut down to size, and hung on the back. All in all, I think this stroller covers everything - it’s all terrain, only 33 pounds, very durable and high-quality, easiest to steer, and easiest to jog with. All the other ones lack some part of this package. For example, I would like a lighter, cheaper stroller, like the combi side by side, but it’s not worth the trouble to steer it, the feeling it will soon fall apart, or the fact that we can’t go everywhere we want to (all terrain), or the idea that we will soon need to buy something new after the cheap one has fallen apart.

5 Stars great stroller!
This is a great stroller for two babies. We have a two year old who is very big (40 lbs) and a 9mo. old who is also big (25 lbs) and they fit great in this stroller. It’s the only stroller my 2 yr. old sleeps in (reclined). We use it for walks and for around town. It fits through standard doorways. It’s lightweight for such a big stroller and fits in the back of our Honda Oddysey van. Highly recommend it !!

5 Stars Worth EVERY penny
I got this one after the e3 and the instep safari, neither of which was ideal. I had given up and thought the perfect stroller didn’t exist…until I got this one. I mean it - easily - goes over unplowed snow in chicago with two kids sitting in it! I’m only 5 feet tall and my upper arm work outs consist carrying my kids and pushing this stroller! I can steer with one hand and seriously can’t feel the weight of my kids. It’s cheaper than the e3 - at least when/where I bought the strollers. It’s certainly not cheap by any means, but all the decent doubles seem to hover around 200 or above (usually above). I walk everywhere and run with the kids on the weekends, plus I’m in and out of old buildings with narrow doors and have no problem navigating on my own. I have been deliriously happy with this stroller ever since we got it.

5 Stars A Saving Grace for a Twin Mom!!
I had a hard time convincing myself to buy this stroller because of the price but it is worth every penny and more!!! I began using this stroller when my girls were three months old (with a towel folded under their bums) and the straps hold them in nice and tight. It turns on a dime. I can steer with one hand and drink coffee with the other which is unheard of with a tandem (front/back) stroller. The seats are comfortable, the canopies are individual and provide excellent sun coverage. The seats recline, not flat, but far enough that my girls sleep very comfortably. I can easily see them through the clear “roof”. It is light and is easy to load/unload into the car. I have been able to get this through every door I have tried and find that maneuvering in shops is much easier than expected. Even though my tandem Graco is narrower, it is so hard to steer that is it no more maneuverable. We take daily walks over sand, dirt trails, and concrete sidewalks with great ease. I take it rollerblading (Bob does not recommend this) but it works great. I am 5′9″ and do not have to stoop to push my BOB like I do with my other strollers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller!!

5 Stars BEST DOUBLE JOGGER AROUND
The BOB Revolution Duallie is the single best double stroller that is sold! I got one for my twins (4 months old now) and have been using it since they were 6 weeks old. I don’t use it to jog as the babies aren’t old enough yet, but we walk around our neighborhood, the park, ballgames, the lake and anywhere else. It is very easy to push and manuever and my twins are very comfy. My husband loved that it pushes so easy in the grass on gravel and anywhere else! I also have a 4 1/2 year old daughter, she is very comfortable in this stroller also with one baby and I wear the other baby. It is still easy to push and maneuver and she weighs 40 lbs! It doesn’t push unevenly at all. The seats are easy to recline and the canopy is the bomb! I purchased a mosquito netting for a double stroller and have used it all summer with this stroller, it has worked very well.

I just purchased a Baby Planet double unity stroller for a more “umbrella type” stroller for the twins and I really like it. It doesn’t push nearly as well as the bob, but for an umbrella, it does well. The babies are comfortable and safe and it is easier to fold, load and unload. My 4 year old daughter can ride in it also as each seat is rated for 55 lbs. I have not tried her in it though.

This BOB stroller is heavy, but it is excellent quality. I have a suburban and have plenty of room to take it with us with luggage, etc… It is well worth the money - I get compliments on it where ever I take it and anyone that has pushed it has loved it! The cup holder addition is a must - I have to admit I was disappointed in the cup holder addition when I first saw it, but it is great! I love the middle zippered pouch in it also.

The only bad part about this stroller if you are using it for twins is you can not get 2 infant car seat adaptors to go in this stroller. I solved that problem by buying a cheapo baby trend frame for the mall etc.. when I didn’t want to take them out of their seats.
